"SLEEP" a means to cure disease

Sleep is also a means of treatment like other systems of treatment. It is a treatment by Ether element. Whenever a person falls ill, attempt is made to make him sleep anyhow.


Let us now understand how sleep cures several diseases

1) During sleep the foreign matter(cause of every disease) present in the body is expelled. If the body has lot of poison in it, the patient should sleep for 8 to 10 hours.

2) Sleep repairs the organs of the body. For a patient sleep is more important than food. A sick person can live without food but he needs sleep. Sleep itself is a medicine.

3) If a patient has good sleep, it is understood that he is getting better and his disease is being cured. 

4) universal energy is absorbed during deep sleep which replenishes the body and soul. Scientifically, deep sleep is when the body performs restorative processes and releases hormones essential for health.

Sleep and Dream

• It is generally seen that one who see lot of dreams during sleep do not enjoy deep sleep. It is a sign of I'll health.
• If a particular scene is seen in dreams repeatedly, it is a sign of some hidden disease. 
• After analysing dreams, doctors have found that patients suffering from different diseases have dreams related to the disease. For example, patients suffering from heart disease have frightening dreams.
• Dreams are also influenced by the food we eat. Hose who overeat have often bad dreams. It is also seen that those who do hard labour do not have dreams so often.

How many hours one should sleep?

• Ordinarily 6 to 8 hours is sufficient for any person but it is difficult to say how much someone should eat or how long a person should sleep.
• A new born baby sleeps much longer than a grown up person, because for his growth hisvital force must work peacefully.
• Generally a small child sleeps 15 to 16 hours.
Those who are old, sick, weak or women who have delivered need more sleep than others.
• Women should sleep more than men. Pregnant women should also sleep more.
• After various experiments, doctors and scientists have advised following durations of sleep for different age groups:

To sleep more than necessary is to invite illness. It is also harmful to leave bed without completing sleep.
• One should pay greater attention to have deep sleep.
• Four hours of deep sleep is more beneficial than 8 hours of disturbed sleep.
• One who doesn't sleep during the day but sleeps from the second phase of night to the fourth phase till 4 O'clock in the morning, all the elements in hir body  remain in harmony. He doesn't feel lazy. His body becomes healthy, he becomes enthusiastic and his hunger is aroused.

One western scientist has said: " They can do most who sleep best".
